Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taimiyah Mention:
“And Allah the Most High mentioned in the Qur’an ‘Gracious avoidance (الهجر الجميل),’ ‘Gracious pardon (الصفح الجميل),’ and ‘Beautiful patience (الصبر الجميل).’ It has been said: ‘Gracious avoidance is avoidance without harm. Gracious pardon is pardon without reproach. Beautiful patience is patience without complaint to the creation.’ For this reason, it was mentioned to Ahmad ibn Hanbal during his illness that Tawuus would dislike the groaning of the sick and said concerning it: ‘It is a complaint.’ So Ahmad did not groan until he died.”
